- THE STRATEGY

Create a unified platform suite approach for home-grown tooling serving both internal and external users, addressing the foundational user pain points identified.

At the highest level, an asset is created based on specific data points, served into an availability (DSP) environment, is bid on, is served to consumers for impressions, and performance analyzed.

We had 2 user groups: Sellers and Buyers.

 

For V1 we targeted Yieldmo Admins and Sellers and their roles and tasks. V2 would be building out the Buyer platform.

Wireframe brainstorming

 

We needed to be both fast and agile based on the short runway. The CPO focused on the Seller Users, while I focused on the products and architecture with Engineering.

 

We had wireframing brainstorming sessions that drew on both her SME experience as well as her key user interviews. We also had to grok the information architecture in order to start developing the navigation that would govern the flows.

Asset creation

Sellers can create their own ads in a matter of minutes, based on company goals and real-time exchange performance.

  • In the past, it could take a week or more to request an ad and have it delivered from Development (based on request volume).

- THE OUTCOME

Enthusiastically received by whitelisters

The launch was very well received by the whitelist Sellers.  Enabling Sellers to curate their own targeted inventory, coupled with real-time industry movement and trends to deliver better impression metrics was a game-changer. Whitelist users helped us massage the platform to release a next-level platform for our users.
